Green features:
The building was constructed on the site of the old nursing school. All the demolished building materials were recycled and all the trees in the area were replanted. The air conditioning system is very efficient in its use of electricity and the windows incorporate shading for energy saving during heating and cooling. The building design maximizes the use of natural light and, in addition, the project also includes a solar-powered system to produce steam.

The Israel Institute for Occupational Safety and Hygiene awarded the project first place in its Excellence in Safety competition in2011 in the Construction and Building Engineering category.
