Logistics

Solel Boneh's Logistics Division is comprised of a number of units, which provide high-standard solutions to the needs of construction sites, including: premix concrete, a full range of building equipment, trucking services and materials purchasing.
The Division operates premix concrete plants, a heavy trucking center, a large scaffolding storage area, building forms and building equipment depot, a maintenance center for heavy mechanical equipment, bridge launching beams and construction equipment.
The Division provides high-quality services to the company and to external contractors on a competitive basis, offering excellent value.

The Concrete Plants

The Division operates eight premix concrete plants, which provide reliable, quality services throughout Israel. The plants are located in Bnei Brak, Holon, Beer Sheba, Rosh Haayin Industrial Zone near the Modi'in quarries, Ashdod, Kiryat Sefer, Haifa and Binyamina.
The plants produce all types of concrete and mortar, including cementations mixes for thermal insulation, prepared mortar for flooring, cement mortar and plaster.
The concrete unit includes a quality control department and laboratory that provide technological solutions to special design requirements including chemical additives to improve products and performance, and lower costs. Laboratory workers are involved in casting jobs at the sites and offer project managers support and consultation in the field of concrete products, technologies and processing.

 

Transportation Center

The Logistics Division provides the company and external clients heavy trucking services to construction sites, road building sites and concrete plants. More than 30 heavy trucks are used to transport a range of materials including cement, asphalt, aggregates, heavy equipment and cranes.

 

The Building Equipment Unit

The Building Equipment Unit includes: 

• Tower cranes for lifting light to very heavy loads to any height within a radius of up to 70 meters.
• Truck cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 250 tons.
• Telescopic shovels.
• Hoists and generators.

The unit's operations include: 

• Supplying building equipment and operators to work sites.
• Planning the use of the company equipment.
• Maintaining and supervising equipment and its onsite operation.
• Equipment repairs.

The unit has ongoing contact with work sites and provides instruction and consultation regarding safe and efficient use of equipment. The unit also rents out equipment to the open market.

 

Formwork and Scaffolding

This unit handles and maintains a full range of construction accessories, and supplies support equipment to sites according to quantities and timetables coordinated with the site management.

The unit manufactures special accessories and elements designed by the company's planning department to meet specific site requirements. The unit also rents out equipment to the open market.

 

Procurement Department

The Purchasing Unit procures all the materials needed for project execution for construction sites.

 

Equipment and Logistics Services

The Logistics Division manages and maintains the company's equipment and assets. The Division supervises and provides preventative maintenance in order to increase the availability of equipment, according to an annual work plan.
The maintenance department is located at the logistics center in Palmachim.
The Equipment Department serves as the company's engineering authority in the following fields: 

• Equipment and vehicles, including heavy mechanical equipment and trucks.
• Concrete plant equipment.
• Asphalt and pre-cast production plant equipment.
• Formwork and scaffolding units.
• Materials and specialized vehicles.
• Truck cranes and derricks.
• Sale of surplus equipment and vehicles.
• Heavy trucks and fuel tankers.

 

The Logistics Division provides a range of logistics services to construction sites, including: 

• Setting regulations and procedures.
• Repairing equipment and portable structures.
• Assistance in opening and closing sites - mobilization and demobilization.
