Construction & Civil Engineering

The Construction and Civil Engineering Division specializes in complex projects that involve major construction work, particularly the construction of water filtration and wastewater treatment facilities, water supply and energy facilities, airports and all types of bridges including railway bridges. The Division also constructs various public buildings such as hospitals, hotels, transportation, commercial and office facilities as well as residential buildings.

 

The Construction and Civil Engineering Division has extensive experience in the construction of: 

• Civil engineering plants and facilities: power plants and desalination, water filtration and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Composite concrete/steel buildings: factories and pavilions.
• Public buildings: offices, universities, hospitals, hotels, jails and schools.
• Roads, Bridges and interchanges.
• Railroads bridges.
• Pipe/box culverts.
• Retaining walls and concrete conduits.
• Cut and cover tunnels.
• Underground pedestrian passages.
• Maritime works: ports, docks, breakwaters and cofferdams.
• Residential projects

 

The Division has broad capabilities and carries out complex, large-scale engineering projects including BOT, PFI and PPP projects. Throughout its operations, the Division has acquired extensive experience in executing projects in various frameworks: collaborating with Israeli or foreign partners, working independently, or in cooperation with Israeli or foreign subcontractors.

The Division collaborates with other company divisions or subcontractors to carry out projects which incorporate paving and earth-moving with construction and civil engineering, such as transportation projects.

The Division employs professional and highly-skilled personnel, including a team of experienced engineers, and has a wide range of equipment at its disposal. The Division also possesses the equipment, knowledge, technology and resources necessary to construct all types of bridges designed in Israel today.
