1940:
Shikun Ovdim (today Shikun & Binui Real-Estate) plays a major part in the massive construction challenge of building the country. Hundreds of thousands of immigrants arrive and the small country’s population is doubled within a few years.
1950:
Shikun, which specializes in urban construction, merges with Naveh Oved which specializes in rural construction. The new company’s name is Shikun Ovdim.
1960:
Now that the need to build quickly subsides, the company focuses on and invests in its customer’s quality of life.
1970:
As the young state begins to establish itself, Shikun Ovdim develops financing plans and residential buildings for young couples.
1980:
Shikun Ovdim’s standards serve as a model for the international construction industry.
1990:
Shikun Ovdim becomes a public company, laying the foundations for the 21st century as the leading construction company in Israel.
2000:
Shikun Ovdim of the 21st century offers its customers quality of life through planning and developing complete and carefully planned neighborhoods. The company manages to develop unique and quality building projects by implementing innovative technologies and years of experience.
2009:
Shikun Ovdim becomes Shikun & Binui Real Estate. Now, it designs, builds and markets self-contained family-community environments, while using environmentally friendly designs and materials.
