Designing water treatment solutions with a focus on the total cost of ownership and low long-term O&M costs is an S&B Water hallmark, as is the fundamental aim of making water safe for consumers in an environmentally-responsible manner.

Since its inception in 1994, S&B Water has been designing, constructing and operating drinking water treatment sites. It is Israel's largest private drinking water supplier, providing 10 million cubic meters (more than 2.5 billion gallons) of potable water annually.

The company currently develops projects in three main markets:

For the industrial market, it employs technologies to purify process and waste water to:

  • Recover acid and bases in the metal and food and beverage manufacturing fields
  • Remove pharmaceutical elements from water
  • Reduce contaminant levels in industrial waste water

In the municipal market, the company builds and manages desalination plants, and purifies water for drinking through the use of various technologies to remove nitrates, VOCs, perchlorate and RDX.

In the odor control market, it utilizes biological solutions to remove Sulfides, Mercaptans and VOCs from municipal and industrial waste water.
