Build Up Shikun & Binui groups innovation program

Shikun & Binui participated in the Maala Corporate Social Responsibility Index (2016) and received the highest "Platinum Plus" rating, after having been awarded the "Platinum" rating when it had first participated in the index last year (June 2016) * Shikun & Binui announced the financial closing of the Cundinamarca 010 Toll Road Project in Colombia a BOT project which includes financing, construction, rehabilitation, operation and maintenance of a toll road which will span over approximately 154km, near the city of Bogota. The scope of the project is currently estimated at approximately 640 million US$. (May 2016) * Financial closing of project for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of a toll road in the metropolitan area of Houston, Texas, USA The Shikun & Binui Group's first infrastructure project in the United States, in a scope of approximately one billion US dollars. (May, 2016) * The "Netivei Israel - National Transport Infrastructure Company Ltd." company announced that Shikun & Binui Solel Boneh Infrastructures has won the tender issued by the Ministry of Transportation and "Netivei Israel - National Transport Infrastructure Company Ltd." for the mega project (with a total investment of approximately NIS 600M) of upgrading Road 77-722, the north-eastern arm of the Cross Israel Highway (Highway 6). (March 2016) * Shikun & Binui is selling its part in the Hadera Desalination Plant operating company, to its partner, the IDE Group, for NIS 80M. After selling its part in the operating company, the Company shall hold 50% of the desalination plant's concession company. (March, 2016) * The "Globes" 2015 Israel Business Conference took place in Tel Aviv on December 6-7, 2015. Orry Ben-Porath, Shikun & Binui's VP Sustainability, presented the Group's BuildUp Innovation Program in the framework of a panel entitled "Life Changing Approaches Innovation Shaping Humanity" (December, 2015) * In November, 2015, the Engineers Association granted the partnership of Shikun & Binui Solel Boneh Infrastructures and Electra Systems an award in recognition of an Outstanding Project in the field of buildings, for the Tel Aviv District Courthouse project. (November 2015) * In November, 2015, the Shikun & Binui Group launched "Buildup" - the Group's new innovation program. The program shall work in an "Open Innovation" model and will allow entrepreneurs to integrate innovate and ground breaking technologies in the framework of Shikun & Binui's operations, primarily in the fields of infrastructures, smart cities, structures, energy, environment, and more. (November, 2015) * The Shikun & Binui Group, together with a foreign infrastructure contractor, won the tender published by NTA (Israel Light Rail) for the construction of Tel Aviv Light Rail's "Red Line", which includes digging 2 underground tunnels, building 6 underground stations and performing civil engineering works. The scope of the contract exceeds 3 billion New Israeli Shekels (May, 2015) * Shikun & Binui has won a 1 billion dollar BOT toll road project in Texas. This is the first large scale project to be won by the USA headquarters, which was established in 2012, as part of the Group's expansion strategy. (March, 2015) * Shikun & Binui Solel Boneh Infrastructures won a BOT tender for planning, building, financing, operating and maintaining dormitories for 400 students at the Tel Aviv Jaffa Academic College, in a total scope of 130 million New Israeli Shekels (February, 2015). * February 9, 2015 Cornerstone laying ceremony for the prestigious "Central Garden" complex in the Serbian capital, Belgrade. The complex is a joint project of Shikun & Binui and the Africa-Israel Group, which integrates residential construction (550 residential units) and commercial and office areas (February, 2015). * January 14, 2015 Inauguration of the new National Police Academy in Beit Shemesh. The academy is a BOT project that spreads over 230 dunam, and was built and shall be operated by Shikun & Binui and G4S. Chalomot Rosh Haayin Hachadasha

A green project in the new neighborhood of Rosh Haayin, offering perfect quality of life, just a few minutes drive from Tel Aviv, in close proximity to all of the citys high quality community services, with rich apartment specifications and all of the advantages of green building.

The Carmel Tunnels

An advanced toll road system that was constructed to improve the quality of life of the residents of Haifa and the North and to significantly reduce the time it takes to cross the city. This is the first urban toll road system of its kind in Israel.

Chalomot Tzukei Hashmura

A unique sea-front project, facing the Iris Nature Reserve in Netanya, designed in perfect harmony with nature. Outstanding building materials were selected to ensure the building maintains long lasting quality and elegance.

Ir Yamim

In March of 2012, the Ir Yamim Mall opened to the public in the prestigious Ir Yamim neighborhood in Netanya. The mall was built by Shikun & Binui Real Estate together with Azorim, and spreads over 58 Dunam.


The Time Tower is all about elegance and prestige: with its clean lines, it has a look that is not subject to whims of fashion but will remain contemporaneous for many years to come.

Hadera Desalination Facility

The desalination facility in Hadera was established by Shikun & Binui adjacent to the Orot Rabin power plant in Hadera. H2ID, a consortium of IDE technologies, and Shikun & Binui, which financed, built and operates the desalination facility, won the BOT project.

Pure Chalomot Hasharon

A high quality complex, next to an enchanting woods, with developed infrastructures and facilities. The project was designed in accordance with Green Building Standard 5281 and was the first in Israel to be awarded a green standard certification.

Highway 6

The Cross Israel Highway is the first road in Israel that was paved as a BOT project and is also the longest highway in Israel and the first toll road in Israel. To date, the road is 138km long, has 12 interchanges, two tunnels (500m) and 100 bridges.

Thermal Solar Power Plant at the Ashalim Complex

A BOT tender, for financing, construction and operation of a thermo-solar power plant at the Ashalim Complex in the Negev. The facility shall have a total production capacity of approximately 110 MW (one of the largest of its kind worldwide).
